Album Review

Music from The Hobbit & The Lord of the Rings features selections from each of the first four (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, The Return of the King) films in the series. Fans of director Peter Jackson's vision of Middle Earth and composer Howard Shore's award-winning score will recognize all of the tracks, yet should keep in mind that they are not the versions that appear in the films or official soundtracks, though the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra does an admirable job in interpreting them.

Well Done!

This compilation of songs is incredible, well worth the money! The top song for me is probably Into the West or The Riders of Rohan. This music conveys so many different moods, it's incredible. The harsh, booming melodies of The Bridge of Khazad Dum contrasting with the soft, mellow tones of Into the West provides you with an awesome variety of sounds. I strongly recommend it.

Exquisite!

As a huge LOTR fan, and movie music fanatic, this is a must for any serious LOTR fans. Although the same tracks appear in the original and complete recordings, this album has enhanced the most popular tracks from all three albums. Worth every cent!

LOTR Rules!

At first people didn't think LOTR could ever be filmed, but Peter Jackson actually did it. the most groundbreaking fantasy series has one of the best movie scores in history.
