Album Review

Expanding Horizon is a double-CD set of minimalist drones from two of Europe's leading practitioners of the style — Mathias Grassow and Alio Die (aka Stefano Musso). It is a natural pairing of two like-minded souls. Musso and Grassow have built some of e-music's densest walls of dark drones. Grassow has forged most of his textures synthetically and electronically. He has, nonetheless, created organic ambience. Musso is one of Europe's foremost sound manipulators. His organic atmospheres evolve from warped samples and distorted sounds. The soundscapes are intense and incessant. The psychoactivity is essential. This CD is out there where few have gone. It will appeal to fans of Lustmord, Andrea Marutti, Max Corbacho, and Robert Rich.

Masters of Drone

Three of the best Drone musicians work to create a an opus of sustained beauty.
At first it may all sound deceptively simple, deep and repeated listens reveal detail beneath the warm hum of the drones. The effect of which is an expansive field of sound to explore with each sound.
The overall feeling which is warm and magnetic.

I am not sure why there is an “Parental Advisory" warning on this album as it is purely instrumental, and does not contain anything that could possibly be found offensive. I am certain that this was a mistake on iTunes part.
