About Greg Wyard

Born and England and moving to Montreal when he was 13, Greg Wyard was born into a musical family. After finishing high school, Wyard moved to Ottawa, performing as a sideman, then solo artist. In 1995, he formed a trio along with Todd Huckabone and brother Nick Wyard. In 1998, Wyard released his first album, entitled The First, which received regional airplay. In February 2001, Wyard placed third in a Toronto songwriting competition, which was on the heels of his second release, Something I Made Up. Wyard has also performed with Wild Strawberries and Damnhait Doyle. ~ Jason MacNeil
