Album Review

Released one year after the band's beefed-up sophomore album, the Hell or High Water EP scales things back. Gone are the stacks of polished harmonies and studio-enhanced guitars, and in their place are seven tracks that emphasize fast, rambunctious emo-pop. These songs aren’t as fastidiously groomed for radio airplay as the previous album, but they’re certainly more believable, and returning fans will be happy to hear the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus find their footing again.

Customer Reviews

Thank god its not like the Lonely Road!

Thank god its more like Don't You Fake It! Not the cheesy and kinda mainstreem sound from the Lonely Road! The screamo is back! Awesome! Hope the new album is like this!

BOOOOO!!!

These guys are going backwards! Every album keeps getting worse than the previous one.

Terrible lyricsm

The actual instrumentation is better than "Lonely Road", and more like "Don't You Fake It". However, I don't really see myself enjoying any of the tracks off of this album. Nowhere near as much as the more solid songs from the previous two releases.

This encouragement led the guys to book themselves several local shows, to the quick embrace of their hometown scene. As the buzz grew, the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus recorded their first EP and began relentlessly spreading their name around Florida....
