Make it double !

It is like Grey Goose on the rocks. Clean and Clear . Looking forward to hear what coming up next ! Congrats !

Dallas's best and fullest album to date.

Just listened to the stream of Hurry and the Harm, and damn! When he released Thirst, I was kinda wary of this new sound he's got, and although I still liked Thirst, there are many more songs that just completely benefit from the new band sound. If you haven't ever heard City and Colour, it's a great time to start here, and if you're a long time fan, DO NOT WORRY about the new sound. These songs will put your worries To rest. And now, here I am again, completely engrossed and intertwined in the lyrical genius, soothing voice, and musical craftmanship that Dallas has once again created, in an exciting new twist of his sound. Buy it. Dive in my friends!

Just An Amazing Talent

I wish people would just get over the fact that Alexisonfire broke up ALMOST TWO YEARS AGO and recognize that lamenting about it in a City and Colour album review is like whining about the fact McDonald's doesn't carry running shoes. It's pointless and unconstructive.

Dallas is an incredible talent by his lonesome and has proven that through his rise to international fandom. There are hardly any musicians out there these days with the ability to make such emotionally deep and captivating music, and we should be admiring and complimenting his amazing gifts instead of dwelling on something you can't change.

I'm very much looking forward to another fantastic album from Dallas. The first three songs released have shown this album to have much promise. Can't wait for June 4th!

City and Colour was the solo acoustic project of Dallas Green, best known as the singer/guitarist for the Canadian post-hardcore band Alexisonfire. Born September 29, 1980, in St. Catharines, Ontario, Green served as a member of Helicon Blue before co-founding Alexisonfire in late 2001. Despite scant radio airplay, the band developed a strong fan following on the strength of their ferocious live shows, and their 2004 sophomore LP, Watch Out!, debuted in the Canadian Top Ten. At year's end Green issued...
