Much mellower follow-up album

This album came out shortly after 'Choose Life', Debby's catchy little pop project. I was hoping to get more of the same infectious danceable music, and there are some bright spots like 'Make Me Ready', but overall, she returns to her tried-and-true, mellow, middle-of-the-road adult contemporary style. It's not bad overall, but it was a letdown compared to her previous hitmaker. I still remember most of the songs and have fond memories, but I would have loved to see her continue in the pop style.
