With What Shall I Keep Warm?

This lp. Well done, Ms Siberry.

With What Shall I Keep Warm

First - KUDOS to Jane Siberry for showing her truly Canadian Soul by her proper use of grammar in the title - Personal bête noir is the hated "dangling participle"!

Secondly, KUDOS go to Jane for FINALLY breaking free of the "darkness of her (musical) soul" that saturated the prior two albums. I could identify with the faith challenges & resolutions set out so beautifully in "Take Me to My Tent".

And it is a long over-due delight to hear Jane's return to her hauntingly introspective, yet hopeful, songs I remember from what seems so long ago ("Then We Heard a Shout" & Walk On Water"). WE MISSED YOU JANE & ARE SO HAPPY YOUR ARE COMING OUT OF THAT DARK PLACE. :-)

Now I am going to be watching & waiting for the next album, and can't wait to hear what auditory delights that one will bring to my ears!
