Yukmouth spends most of his time on Thug Lord, his second solo album, dissing other rappers. Tracks like "Regime Killers 2001" and "Oh Boy!" take aim at all the usual suspects: fake rappers and music execs who keep true rappers like himself down. "World's Most Wanted" cleverly interpolates the theme song from the soap opera The Young and the Restless and "Puffin Lah" is a steel drum-filled ode to marijuana use.

Rapper Yukmouth first surfaced as one half of the Oakland, CA-based duo the Luniz; debuting in 1995 with the album Operation Stackola, they launched a major hit with the single "I Got 5 on It."
