he does it again

Another great album capturing the true spirit of South Africa. Johnny cunningly combines music from all our different cultures into a beautiful sounding album. Hoping for a performance here in Canada. Nice one Mr. Zulu!

Excellent Nostalgic and Rythmic

Great album - from the roots as Juluka and then into Savuka, Johnny Clegg remains a pillar of the cultural echo of South Africa. Everytime I hear the old stuff, and now this, I am reminded of the blend that is South Africa, a cultural mosiac with immense potential and yet, such a struggle, like a coin with love and pain, either of which can be lost without losing the coin. Great stuff.

Together with Sipho Mchunu, a Zulu musician who came to Johannesburg in search of work, Johnny Clegg formed South Africa's first multiracial band, Juluka. In the seven years that they were initially together, the band recorded two platinum and five gold albums and became an international success. Following the group's disbanding in 1986, Clegg continued to blend African music with European pop influences with the band Savuka. Reunited with Mchunu in the mid-'90s, Clegg re-formed Juluka and toured...
