Amazing Single

The Cruxshadows have always played with their sounds and beats; and while the title single "Valkyrie" is very much in line with their usual style, "Anthem" and "Stranger Skies" really mix it up with a different approach. It's an engaging EP.

Powerful lyrics, amazing melodies, a great set of beats to keep you moving. Rogue has always had a powerful presence, and everything around him really just enhances that-- amazing violins, backup vocals, guitar, and keyboard. While "Valkyrie" is just the latest single, it promises a really great future. Always great to hear something new from a band this strong.

I just wish that they released digital albums with an album-only digital booklet of the artwork and lyrics. They always have contact with some really revolutionary artists.

Pushing goth-rock further away from its cliched Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson motifs, The Cruxshadows (pronounced Croo-shadows) were formed by Rogue, Sean Flanagan, and Tim Curry while attending Florida State University in 1992.
