Brimming with life and atmoshpere

Owl City's soft electric sound is like none other; it is perfectly crafted and produced. This album is just brimming with life and atmosphere, anyone who is craving some soft summer tunes should buy this album. :D I will enjoy this completely.

I don't like it. I can't really put my finger on why, because I love the Postal Service, love electro-syth stuff like Shiny Toy Guns, and even overly sweet dessert bands like Slow Club. This just...... agh. It just sounds too clean, as if it *used* to be good, but then tracks got so sanded down so much that they just lost their original meaning and emotion. It just ends up being an unoriginal, cloying, cutesy pop album. Ugh. Two stars for the effort, and I know a lot of people like this. I just... don't like this.

sickk first review! anyways this is another amazing album by adam young, i was legit counting down the hours til it came out, and im not disappointed! it's a little different than his older stuff, happier and faster maybe? ANYWAYS BUY IT, SERIOUSLY (:

He eventually combined those diversions into a blend of electronica and emo-pop, using little more than his computer and various keyboards to record the material. Songs were uploaded to MySpace...
