Album Review

Grouped together, as they are on the double-disc From Q with Love, producer/arranger/conductor Quincy Jones' love songs sound an awful lot alike, with high-gloss production, silky smooth harmonies, and lead singers who all happen to bear a strong vocal resemblance to Jones' most famous client, Michael Jackson. It helps that From Q with Love is loaded with hits from Jones' past 30-plus years, including Patti Austin and James Ingram's "Baby, Come to Me" and "How Do You Keep the Music Playing?," Ingram's "One Hundred Ways" and "Just Once," Jackson's "Human Nature," and a handful of tracks from Jones' 1989 golden showpiece, Back on the Block.

One of the best albums of all time - 6 stars!!

This is, without a doubt, one of the best albums of all time. Quincy Jones has had a long and illustrious career, and every single one of these songs show why he has earned his stellar reputation. "The Secret Garden (Sweet Seduction Suite)" is hands-down one of the sexiest songs ever written and performed. I'm willing to bet that any woman would get turned on while listening to the first minute of The Secret Garden. If you don't believe me, just download that one song and listen to Barry White's voice turn you into mush. There are other classics on this album like James Ingram's "Just Once and "Baby Come To Me" with Patti Austin. I'm only 29 years old, but even I can appreciate music like this. Please, PLEASE download this album or at least The Secret Garden and post your comments on the album/song. You won't be disappointed!
