Album Review

Caifanes, Vol. 2 (1990), also known by the title El Diablito, is the second full-length album by pioneering rock en español band Caifanes. The addition of former Insolitas guitarist Alejandro Marcovich to Caifanes gives the album a different sound than that of the band's 1988 debut album. Standout song "La Celula Que Explota" is one of Caifanes' all-time biggest hits.

A leading light of the Latin American alternative rock community, Caifanes were formed in Mexico City in 1986 by vocalist Saul Hernández, guitarist Alejandro Marcovich, and drummer Alfonso Andre.
