iTunes Editors' Notes

This album shows why Bon Jovi is one of the few bands from the hairspray-metal ’80s to survive. The reason is simple: great songs. Despite having moderate success on their prior two albums, the band teamed up with songwriter/producer Desmond Child and the resulting album contains three stone-cold pop smashes: “You Give Love a Bad Name”, Livin’ on a Prayer” and “Wanted Dead or Alive”. But Slippery also rocks with the arena-rock crowd pleaser “Raise Your Hands” and the melodramatic power ballad, “I’d Die for You”.
