Great Songs

I'm a Canadian that watched Taylor Hicks from the beginning on American Idol...I loved him! I liked his style of music. Never knew what happened to him till I watched him on Ellen Generes singing! I loved the song and went to Itunes and bought his songs!! Glad to hear that he's still singing. Canadian Lisa from Edmonton...Keep up the good work Taylor!!

It's about TIME!

Following American Idol, Hicks deserved his win, as he was a genuine guy and amazing performer. Hearing his album release with the Idol producers, I was so disappointed that they would give him under par songs to perform. Dropping him was the best thing that could happen to Hicks, because look at him now! ...releasing his own songs, and now working with a Motown producer, the niche he should have been in the first place. Love this album, and wish him all the best successes.

What were people thinking?

I can sum this guy up with one word. Goof !!! What a shame the people with real talent were voted off the show before Hicks. Oh ! Wait a second. They all became famous with budding careers, creating CDs and good music. Hicks went on to do a Ford commercial. The big problem with his album The distance, is the distance isn't far enough away, so that in some way I might hear part of a song Hicks may be trying to sing. Only as long as it would take me to hit the off button.

Born in Birmingham, AL, and raised in Hoover, Hicks grew up listening to classic soul artists such as Otis Redding and Sam Cooke — which he said he could...
