Fix app - ableist company
6 months today I get an email they have me on renewal and they automatically charge your credit card for another 6 months, seriously I don’t want any thing to do with these people. WHERE IS THE REFUND I WAS PROMISED. 6 months paid you should paid me for my time. Was not emergency you keep repeating yourself you sound like the last nurse. I needed inhaler I still do. Days took me repeatedly to fill my profile because of the app glitches kept loosing it, and ongoing interruptions by nurses the last one doing it on purpose including sending me her rude private email to others about me! (esp last one ableist attitude and discrimination, rude. chip on shoulder. I have still have the email and all screenshots). You want to serve isolated populations who don't have doctors as noted on you're LinkedIn then you need to address your company's and employees attitudes and ableism and discrimination. Sounds like most are seeing nurses.
Pls add access to profile so it can be filled out and updated at anytime. No access whatsoever to profile unless thou small conversion link with nurses that keep interrupting while trying to fill it out.
My information is lengthy, an very ill 27 years house/bed confined,disabled and repeatedly brain damage, strokes, and have to filling it out AS ABLE in short spurts.
First visit I repeatedly filled it out, supplied ID uploaded (still on phone) which went missing every time the nurse demanded I come back to their screen in app for useless and repeated conversation, and lack of patience. Once that nurse convo with link to get to profile is gone, this no way back to fill it out as able.
Also, you don't need to have persons medical history to give scripts whether prior prescriptions
are shown or not. Any md house calls like Medvisit does not know Med history. Repeatedly I have told you i can't speak or write, type, talk much re stroke and more and not once log by nurses in their review afterwards. I can't call Medvisit and I can't wait 14 hours for a home visit. If I could I would have paid money for a so far useless app.
That even with prior script, ID , for inhaler to BREATHE was refused

Update: As mentioned in our support email, your membership was fully refunded in July as requested and should appear on your credit card statement. There were no additional charges made to your credit card - the renewal email you received was an error.
Previous response: We're sorry to hear about your experience with Akira. Our clinicians use their clinical judgment to determine whether a particular concern is appropriate for telemedicine. In all cases, their number one priority is patient safety - if they don't believe it is safe to treat a concern via telemedicine, they will recommend an in-person assessment.
We understand that this may be frustrating, and for that we apologize. Patient safety is critical to us, and our clinicians cannot replace the care of a family doctor or specialist familiar with your full history.

This program has provided me with excellent care! I can chat with the same NP, who I’ve now built a rapport with, and video chatted when I need a face to face discussion. I have a great relationship with my GP but having to book an appointment means care is postpone to that set date and time. With Akira I can easily reach out to my NP and get care quickly, professionally and efficiently!
