Ratings and Reviews

Really great!!

flythere45

Beautiful park and the app presents it so well. Lots of pictures and tons of information. Cool videos, too.

Not enough information on hikes

jjk1984

Would like information on all the hiking trails. I can find the trail heads but no additional information is provided.

Developer Response

While we would love to include it all, your Parks Companion is not designed to be a 'hiking' app. However, you can still use it to identify mountains and lakes whilst on the trail. There are many excellent hiker's guides and Parks Canada is a great source, should you need it.

Excellent Quality

Llyndwyn

In depth historical information about points of interest. Plenty of points of interest. Excellent GPS functionality. The focus is on the national park rather than on commercial activities such as gondola rides and taverns. Direct links to federal government weather, road closure and park closure information web sites if you have Internet access. Highly recommended if your interest is hiking, walking, sightseeing the natural panorama of Banff.
