I'm not the biggest fan of how she filters her smoothies. (I would rather be able to specify elaborate, quick and easy, superfoods, budget friendly,etc)Many of her recipes calls for pricy ingredients and superfoods. Things like aloe Vera juice or meats of young coconuts are not typically what I have in My kitchen. So I feel like I would have to go out of my way to make her recipes. I have no doubt however that they taste amazing.
I wasn't initially too keen when my partner bought this app... I figured there's lots of recipes on the internet, right? But... I have grown to LOVE it, as there's lots of good nutritional information included, great ways to search for ingredients on hand, optional boosters, and the flavours are AMAZING! What a fantastic way to start the day. Thanks so much!!!
Absolutely love it
I don't normally even write reviews, but this app (and the book) is amazing. I love it and use it daily. I have made many smoothies and have many books, but I find her approach and style to include some more exotic or some superfoods IF you want to, or you can stick with the base recipe which is still packed full of health and nutrition and tastes AMAZING! I have yet to make one I didn't love. I've started following Tess on Facebook too because I find her very informative, approachable and genuine. You will not regret buying this app. It is a must have for smoothie lovers. LOVE IT.
