Heading to Las Vegas? Time to brush up on the casino dice game known as Craps! This app will lead you through a 40+ screen interactive tutorial that explains all of the standard bets available at the Craps table.
Also included are cheat sheets that provide a quick lookup for the payouts and casino edge on each bet, as well as dice roll combinations and frequency.
There is a practice mode that allows you to play the game, but you are limited to a bankroll of 30 chips at all times. Practice mode includes polished graphics, sounds, animations and the ability to shake your phone to roll the dice!
Once you have learned how to play, consider upgrading to Casino Craps Pro which includes a customized table appearance, roll history, auto-saved game and much more! Contact us at email@example.com with any questions or concerns.
Nice game to learn on!
It's free and great to learn on!
Easy to learn tutorial. You'll know how to play in less than 40 min
Incorrect & incomplete programming
The tutorial section is fairly accurate but does have a few errors. For one thing, there is no 'Don't Pass Bar' - it is essentially a 'Don't Pass LINE Bar 12' - that is, Bar 12 meaning if a 12 is thrown, it is a push. Same for 'Don't Come Bar'.
The tutorial fails to mention that it is only showing HALF the table.
Pass line odds are placed BEHIND the line, not on top of the existing pass line bet. This also makes it difficult to see exactly how much money is on the table.
The tutorial does not cover some of the more obscure bets, like a Horn bet.
In the practice sessions, the bets don't always pay out correctly. I had a $6 place bet on #8, and it should have paid out $7 - instead, it paid $10. In another case, the point (6) was made and instead of paying me my pass line bet with odds, it placed another $6 place bet right beside the ON puck in the 6 box and carried on with the game! Huh?!?
In playing the practice game, it is almost impossible to tell how much money is on the table - is it 5, 10, 15 hard to tell because the chips are stacked together. Similarly, figuring out the winnings payouts is difficult because winnings are all lumped together and added to your stake; you need to constantly watch your balance and subtract that from your new total to find out how much you won and to determine if the payouts are correct
There is no option to press winnings.
Despite having sound effects on, there is no sound.
Based on these things, I cannot recommend this app, and definitely would not spend any money on the pro version.
