HOW IT WORKS:
- Download the app. Complete your account. Become a Citizen.
- You’ll see 5 types of Data Surveys in the CitizenMe app through which you can exchange your data for a fair value. We tell you exactly what you give and get before each survey.
- The green coloured tiles in the app are the one that give you a cash reward for sharing your opinions. The first time you try to complete a Paid Data Survey, you will be prompted to log into your PayPal account. You can select Connect and complete the Exchange. Once you finish it, you will be paid your cash reward directly into your PayPal account.

Obviously designed for phones. Doesn't work on iPad or iPod without mobile services.
Support has not returned any any of my queries.

Hi there, we are sorry that you experienced problems! Our support team is small and we aim to reply to all enquires as soon as we can. We have done a lot of updates to the app recently, so we would love to see you give it another go!

Enjoyable

Not bad, but the “rewards” are pretty minimal cash-wise. My biggest complaint is getting a notification on my phone that there is a paid survey available and, after opening the app immediately, being told that “all places are filled”. Also, it’s pretty obvious that many of the surveys are created by the apo makers just to make the site look busy. That’d be okay if the contrived surveys weren’t so silly.

All that said, it’s enjoyable enough for me to stick around (if somewhat borderline).

Hi there, thanks for your feedback. The number of Citizens using the CitizenMe app is growing rapidly and Earn Exchanges are very popular. At the moment, our system can only warn a Citizen completing an Exchange when it has become expired (it has reached its maximum number of participants) at the end of the Exchange. We understand that this is very frustrating! We have received feedback on this issue, and we are now constructing a technical solution to the problem. It's because of feedback like this that we can prioritise improvements and changes to the app.

As for the Fun Exchanges, they are created by our London team, and we aim to introduce topics that are relevant and interesting, as well as insights so that you can get to know yourself. But if you have any recommendations on topics, we would love to hear them!
