Doctor Tunes is a small automated Music metadata download tool, it will scan your music library filling the missing music tags.
Doctor Tunes is easy and automatic, it will help you in filling all the music metadata to filter and sort your music library.
Song Year? check.
Song Genre? check.
Song album, artist and artwork? check.
The new interface sports a 3 step process: fully automatic data loading, review and (optional) correction, automatic data update. The perfect balance between precision and speed.
with Doctor Tunes you can:
* fill and correct year and genre
* download album artwork
* normalize artist and album name
Doctor Tunes works best on semi structured libraries (that is, music libraries where you are missing some data, not everything) filling the missing data needed to better enjoy your music.
For example: i personally developed and use this app to fill year and genre on my music library and to be able to filter my music and create amazing playlists (eg: 90's grunge music).
What's New in Version 2.3
If you want to completely mess up your library, smart play lists and genres then buy this app. Not only does it not come with any obvious instructions or preferences it complete messed up my whole library. I bought it to aline my genres and fill in some missing data - it did neither. For example, every "Holiday" (aka Christmas Album) I had was given the genre of Pop, Rock or Electronic. Seriously? That is just one of many examples. I'm not even sure what other damage it has done because it doesn't tell you what it is doing!
Do not buy this app! or kiss any organization or smart playlists good-bye. I want a refund.
