Gizmodo's Top App of the Week!
Wired.com: "The biggest draw of this app is the price, though. At just $1, it’s worth having this app around for when you need it."
App Advice: "...for $0.99, Droptext is a fantastic app to have running on your iPhone or iPad."
Knowyourcell.com: "The simplicity and seamlessness of Droptext make it an essential app to own. When used in conjunction with a Bluetooth keyboard, it essentially adds another dimension to iPhone practicality, which isn't something that can be said about most new apps. Using Droptext is enjoyable and efficient -- so much so, in fact, that I used it to write this review."
CultofMac.com: "If you’re a big Dropbox user like I am, it' a great app."
Note: Droptext does not open MS Word or any format other than text files. Any plain text file will work (*.txt, *.html, *.php, *.m, etc.)

Simple and easy! Except one element
The app is simple and easy to use with Dropbox. Makes all the other so called text editors with Dropbox-link to shame. Most of the ones in the App Store are very confusing and require many many taps to accomplice something simple, which is edit a text file and sync back to Dropbox.
Having said that, there is one omission. You can't open the text file in Dropbox with Droptext. You have to select the text file from within Droptext, quite unfortunate.
The popup window to name a file and save is inaccessible thus I cannot save and this app has become useless.
This is why I hate that you can't demo apps first. Waste of a dollar.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
