Nice app overall
I’ve been a Fastmail user since it started. The app is better than the Apple mail app and I would recommend it for Fastmail users. The current version has a crash issue when opening emails from a notification. I hope it gets fixed in the next update.
Good service, poor app
The app is mediocre. It’s a web app, so basically is the same as checking your inbox via Safari. On top of that, the app has loading issues, and sometimes you get stuck in an infinite loading loop with no access to your mail. Also, if you don't have an internet connection, the app doesn't let you check your mailbox offline (it's a web app).
In summary, good service with a mediocre app.
New Effects Cause Viewing Issues
As someone using an older phone (iPhone 6), the small effects added when deleting messages or changing viewing in calendar have slowed down the smooth experience.
Can you please add a way to disable the effects or to provide the option of using the older version of the app without the effects. Also, a dark mode should be added.
