HTML Teacher is a unique way to learn beginning HTML.
It teaches HTML through interactive lessons that let you try out each new tag and see the results in a browser pane right away.
An editor, web previewer, and file uploader are built-in.
At first, you choose tags from a menu, to eliminate misspellings; then you're free to type them yourself. A built-in HTML checker points out errors. Best of all, you can upload pages to a real website from within the app, with no signup or extra fees required, and then share that website with your friends and family.
This app is intended for students from grades 4 and up, but it's suitable for adults, too. (Not for those who already know HTML basics. No advanced topics like tables, forms, and CSS.)
Once you've mastered the HTML taught by HTML Teacher, you're ready to move on to the easy-to-use, yet powerful, site-building app SiteKite, also in the Mac App Store.
