Quite unlike anything we’ve seen before, Pry is a compelling piece of interactive fiction told through a unique blend of video, audio and text. By pinching and swiping the screen, you delve into the experiences and subconscious thoughts of James, a troubled young Gulf War veteran working as a demolition contractor. It’s a visceral, evocative and sometimes heart-wrenching story with many hidden secrets to uncover.
Very cool
Confusing and difficult puzzles that fulfill you once you get them, and it leads you through a story that is crazy cool and interesting. Can't wait to finish part 2!!!
boring and expensive
It's quite possible I'm a moron, because I just don't get it.
I understand why the app is $5.99 -- movies are expensive to shoot and you are using real actors here -- but after almost an HOUR of "gameplay", I haven't actually done anything DIFFERENT... just spreading and squeezing my fingers together in order to see different pictures and get a (sort of uninteresting) story told slightly more completely each time.
As far as I can tell, there IS no game to be played, and no puzzles to be solved. DISAPPOINTING.
I was expecting (and hoping for) something interactive, something intriguing and something which involved solving puzzles.
I got none of that, and I feel really ripped off.
