A comprehensive English to French, and French to English dictionary featuring a dependable word database of more than 240,000 translation pairs. iDictionnaire is rich in phrases and technical terms. It has a clear user interface, the "search-as-you-type" suggestions and streamlined presentation of translations. Also, it is completely self-contained, no internet connection or additional purchases are needed.
One of the best apps
This app is what I've been looking for. So many translations for so many words, even complicated ones. And the best part, no internet required! I strongly recommend getting this app. It may be pricy, but I believe that it was worth it in all aspects.
The minimalistic, clean interface is what led me to purchase iDictionnaire instead of other dictionary apps, but it lacks a few important pieces of information — most notably a masculine/feminine identifier for French nouns and feminine equivalents of French adjectives. I would definitely score this higher if those features were integrated in a future update.
Very handy to keep open on the desktop along with Rosetta Stone.
