Adding the side menu of apps broke it

Since the latest update, you can't play the game properly because when you pick up a country at the edge of the screen the stupid huge new side menu thing promoting the other Montessorium apps comes up and pulls across, obscuring the map. That should only be accessible from the world map home screen (or, you know, not at all because it is a really ugly and clumsy way to promote other apps), not while you are playing a level. So yeah, now my kid can't play the game any more because no one bothered to test playing this version before releasing the update. Nice going.
