Five clans are fighting to rule over the Isle of Skye. Only the chieftain who develops the best clan territory and trades wisely will be king!
When leaving your castle, build up the Isle of Skye by adding green hills, perfect beaches and mountain ranges. Raise livestock, produce precious whisky, build forts and ships... Expand your territory tile by tile, pay to keep hold of your tiles or sell them to an opponent for the price you've set... Tile price setting, purchases, sales, and structures are the key to becoming the ruler of the Isle of Skye!
Every game is different and will see you developing different strategies and tactics! With changeability and easy to learn rules, Isle of Skye is the perfect game for all types of players.

Great game, AI needs improvement, cannot play online
I love this board game and was excited to play the app. The app is quite well done, except for a few bugs (such as the app freezing in the middle of every 4 or 5 games) and the bizarre login screen that doesn’t work at all unless you have gamecenter enabled on your iPad. My biggest complaint is that I have yet to succeed getting an online game started. I keep starting games but never get an opponent. So I have been playing exclusively with the AI which unfortunately is not very advanced. Even the highest level AI seems programmed to favor territories over all else, even if NONE of the scoring tiles included territory tiles. So rather than place a tile in a way that earns points (e.g. connect it to the castle), it will close a territory for 0 points. Pretty frustrating that it doesn’t play better. I should not be able to win against the hardest AI 98% of the time... I am not that good.
Meh
The game is good but this app feels unpolished. There are many bugs which ruins the experience. I would not recommend anyone to buy the current version if you plan to play online games. => Can’t finish online games or even see who actually won games on the last round, thanks to infinite loading and freezing screens. The app keeps asking for login info which is annoying.
So Darn Buggy
It's a fun game, but the developer hasn't bothered to publish any bug fixes in 3 years, despite clear, easily reproducable issues with the app locking up frequently.
