It works very well for me.
I have a hearing issue and cannot hear the alarm on my phone or on my alarm clock that has a bed shaker.
This alarm I can hear! It is relentless as well so I gave up and get up when it first goes off.
I highly recommend it.

Love
Love this alarm! It’s super loud and I sleep extremely deeply. I love the messages/fun facts that you receive after you press snooze. The main issues are that you need to ensure you set up your phone correctly for this alarm to work properly ( ringer on, app open, phone plugged in) which is kind of annoying but worth it because it reliably wakes me up.
