Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Macworld is the largest Apple-focused publishing brand in the world, and Macworld Magazine (U.S.) is the most popular Apple-focused magazine. Launched with the Mac in 1984, Macworld is still the best place to read about everything Apple's doing, from the Mac to the iPad, iPhone, and iPadPro. Combining product reviews, valuable tips, and analysis of the latest news developments, every month Macworld magazine provides you with what you need to know about the universe of Apple products.
Single issues are available for $6.99 each, or you can opt for a recurring monthly subscription for $1.99 per issue.
Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.
What's New in Version 6.0
We've move to an entirely new platform and app interface. Macworld now can be read in both landscape, portrait, and enhanced text view; accessible via mobile, and searchable across all issues. Sign-in with your email and a password. If you haven't created a password, go to macworld.com/customer_service or tap on My Account from the left side menu. For help, email email@example.com, or call 800-288-6848. Your back issue libraries will be in the new format and will need to downloaded again. If purchased through iTunes, go to upper left menu > Settings & Help > Restore Purchases.
Don't download! Updated
Update: all of a sudden it started working. Don't think it was anything I did - perhaps it needed time to realise I'm a subscriber.
I did, yesterday, and now I have no issues in my library and no way to download them even though I have a paid-up subscription through Macworld.
I advise you to wait until they fix the bugs.
Not an improvement
I would avoid this upgrade, if I could get a do over. Bookmarking pages doesn't work. You have to flip through all pages of an article to skip it, instead of just the first page. And resetting up your account information is a hassle, assuming you can remember the email address you originally used and your password. Also, all previously downloaded issues are erased.
No response from customer service
You have to have a degree in programming to log into this app.
Seriously... you CANT access even with your password. It asks you to enter in another password to verify your account. After that does it work? No.
Utter crap and poor customer service
