What's New in Version 8.0.43
General bug fixes.
After years of the 8.x stream, still the same issues:
Can’t turn off alert sounds - I had to disable sound completely just to avoid alerts
No auto-connect to remote machine by-passing or automatically submitting the password - even though the connection profile has a saved password, it always says it’s invalid when the app first launches. Cancelling and then double-clicking the connection in the server list will let it log on without typing a password. Such an easy bug to fix. So infuriating in use.
MS needs to abandon Windows and go X-box only.
Doesn’t work very well
It freezes up all the time, and when typing some characters don’t show up until you hit another key. These things make this tool very annoying to use, and instead I choose to run remote desktop in a windows vm.
