Do you want to be reminded to drink more water? To have good posture? To compliment your spouse? To pray for someone?
Developing a new habit usually hinges on one factor: remembering to work on it!
Having reminders throughout the day helps, but when they come at expected times, they lose their effectiveness.
Mind Jogger is designed to get around that problem by sending randomly scheduled reminders throughout the day. Just enter what you need to remember and how many times you want to be reminded each day, and Mind Jogger will take care of the rest.
Completely redesigned and updated to include users’ most requested features, Mind Jogger now offers:
- multiple reminders
- multiple alert sounds
The operating system allows each app to schedule up to 64 alerts at once. Mind Jogger keeps track of how many jogs are activated and will alert you as you reach the limit.
This means that:
- if you have a total of 9 or fewer activated jogs, alert times will be random for an entire week, and will then repeat at the same times as the previous week.
- if you have more than 9 activated jogs, alert times will be random for the first day, and will then repeat at the same times every day.
However, there is an easy way to get around these limitations: just launch the app at least once a day, and it will update the jogs with new random times. All you have to do is respond to the alert by tapping it.
Fixed a database bug that caused a crash for some users. Because of that bug, you may have lost your jogs from previous versions, and we again apologize for this inconvenience.
Ratings and Reviews
it’s good, but still a lot of issues
- works as advertised: random reminders throughout the day
- pretty simple to use/set up
- need to clear reminders twice
- sometimes the app forgets to remind me to do something...
- interface issues
- seems abandoned
The app is nice, but I wouldn’t have paid so much for it, if it’s not updated or debugged...
Ok, some bugs, abandoned?
Seems to be abandoned, which is a pity. It has potential to be good for random reminders. There is a bug with clearing completed reminders (have to do it twice) and can't restore purchase.
I appreciate this app so much, it helps remind me of things I need to do consistently throughout the day instead of setting a million alarms
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
