MSG files are often generated by the PC version of Microsoft Outlook. This proprietary format is easily read on other PCs, but it is unrecognisable on Macs - even if you are using Microsoft Outlook for Mac or Apple Mail. MSG Viewer for Outlook works like magic by converting the unrecognisable format into the email that your friend or coworker intended to send you - and it all happens in a split second.
With this easy-to-use program, you'll be able to open all of those MSG files seamlessly in your favourite Mac email clients. Batch processing and conversion of Outlook MSG contacts (.vcf) is also supported.
The free version only converts selected portions of the MSG file. The licensed version (available via in-app purchase) activates all features, including complete conversion of MSG files and batch processing.

A free version that works for viewing only 35% of your message. Just making it paying and proceed, instead of losing my time with a fake free app. Its a miss.
Great results with MSG Viewer for Outlook.
I found the app very useful. I needed to convert a vast number of emails in .msg format to .eml format (i.e. native format for Mac OS Mail application). You can simply select the .msg emails to be converted and drag and drop them to this app’s window. I converted as many as 150 emails at a time, and could probably have done more. The converted emails were accurate and the attachments fully preserved as in the original emails.
It's in the app store but...
Its in the app store but I can't use it because it doesn't seem to meet apple's security requiements, so I just get a message saying "can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software." eveyr time I try to use it.
