This is a great app based on the work of a great scientist. However as I am already well aware I'm sure others are: there are big problems and there needs to be big change. I'd love to see apps that guide people on how to make change on a day to day basis, eg- how to compost, how to get started in the right direction, resources on building sustainably and shopping locally. Many are aware we need change, feel helpless, and need direction.
Perhaps it is too late already, perhaps not. If not too late maybe this thought provoking app will inspire action. Some people don't understand & probably never will, which is truly heartbreaking. Thinking that money or religion will solve our problems us foolish. Personally, I believe it is too late to save our planet - there are simply too many humans & too many are not capable of understanding the changes & sacrifices needed. We tend towards hypocrisy, me included. Consumption needs to be dramatically reduced & we won't choose that nor will our big businesses allow the necessary changes.
Tragic truth beautifully stated about humanity
This unpalatable but beautifully told parable illustrates a hard reality -- we humans are outgrowing our world, but have nowhere to go. It is guaranteed to leave you thinking, perhaps more than you would like, but thinking.
It is ironic that this app is classified under "Entertainment", not "Education".
