Ratings and Reviews
Smart little app, but how come they forgot all about metdata?
This app is impressive in functionality. Very well done on all counts, from ease of use to powerful under the hood.
But... what's going on with metadata guys? If I have a library with tagged JPGs and I import my RAWs, I clearly want the JPGs removed and the RAWs preserved (also - why does your default auto-mark logic do the reverse?); but the app does not transfer my existing favourites, labels, keywords, et al to my new RAWs. This is unacceptable, with a huge long-lived and well-maintained collection of photos, this must be preserved.
It looks like the auto-mark logic is currently set up to specifically preserve files with existing metadata over all other versions, just for the sake of not having to transfer metadata. Why would you delete better-quality source material over low-quality tagged material? It makes no sense, guys.
waste of time and money
I spend 2 days trying to erase 32000 duplicate images and had no success. They were placed in an ablum and I could cut them all, but the originals remained in my icloud account. In other words they were never really deleted. When I ran the program a second time all the pictures that were suppose to be deleted were remarked indicating they had never really been taken from my account.
I hate how hard it is to get rid of icloud pictures. 32000 pictures are too many to delete one at a time. And this program is just useless. Stay away
Not The Best
Purchased this applications based on reviews from others. Must say, I am quite disappointed. Ran the scan 21 times at different setting (similar, same, duplicates etc.) I have only about 5000 pictures (compared with many here with thousands more). Scan missed over 200 duplicates….had to go back in several times in photos and manual remove. not impressed at all.
