We set out to build Rootd after suffering from panic attacks and anxiety for several years. The only help resources we could find were either too expensive, ineffective, or poorly designed. Our mission is to help others overcome their panic and anxiety, and to end the stigma against those affected.

The Rootr

Always there to help anytime you feel overwhelmed by an anxiety or panic attack. After activating the Rootr with the press of a big red button, you are presented with two guided paths to relieving the panic: one for when you’re ready to face the panic attack head-on, and another for when you just want to find comfort as quickly as possible.

Understanding Lessons

Find some peace of mind by learning about where anxiety comes from, how our bodies and minds experience panic attacks, and why this all might be happening to you.

Emergency Contact

For when you need to hear a friendly voice, you can immediately call a friend, family member, or nearby help center directly from the app.

Personal Stats Page

Take pride in your healing progress and gain appreciation for how far you’ve come with a personal stats page that tracks your number of panic attacks survived, lessons completed, and overall “warrior points”.

Subscription Pricing and Terms

Rootd offers two auto-renewing subscription options:
$7.99 per month
$71.99 per year (3 months free)

These prices are for Canadian and US customers. Pricing in other countries may vary.

Your Rooted subscription will automatically renew at the end of each term and your credit card will be charged through your iTunes account unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. You can turn off auto-renew at any time from your iTunes account settings but Apple does not provide refunds for any unused portion of the term.

Version 1.8

We're excited to announce the release of the brand new "Visualizr" tool. The Visualizr features audio-guided body scans and visualizations, designed to help you return to calm when feeling anxious. With sessions ranging from 2 - 10 minutes, there's an option for everyone's schedule.

To try the Visualizr: open the Rootd app and go to "Long Term Lessons" -> "Visualizr Tool". Or, click "Visualizr" in the app's side menu. The 2 min body scan is free for everyone, forever. Those with full access to Rootd can choose from all six Visualizr sessions, including soothing rainfall, waves, and rainforest soundtracks.

This release also includes a fix for a bug that was preventing the app from loading properly for a small percentage of users.

Easy to use and comforting resource

I've been looking for a tool that I can keep coming back to like this for quite some time. The blue monster makes learning about this more bearable and even fun. The long term and short term lessons are now available and they are awesome too!
