Based on Sporty’s popular handheld E6B Electronic Flight Computer, the E6B app has been designed from the ground up to make the most of iOS on the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. The software is based on the tried and true formulas and algorithms developed over the years by Sporty’s team of over 50 pilots.
Its pilot-friendly design makes quick work of any navigational, weight and balance, or fuel problem and it also performs conventional arithmetic calculations.
The advanced timer/clock feature simultaneously tracks Zulu, Local and Home time zones. The timer counts either up or down, and will display an alert when reaching zero.
The included Apple Watch app runs natively on the watch (no iPhone required after it's installed) and includes the same 22 functions and 18 conversions as the iPhone/iPad app.

WEIGHT & BALANCE CALCULATOR
The new weight & balance calculator makes computing aircraft loading problems a breeze. The app allows you to create and store multiple aircraft profiles, and then quickly edit the various weights and arms for quick calculations. After adding the weight of your pilot and passengers, fuel and baggage, you’ll instantly see your takeoff weight and center of gravity (CG). It’ll also compute zero fuel weight and landing weight, and shows an instant analysis to to verify that you’re within limits.
18 AVIATION CONVERSIONS

-Perform basic math without having to exit the application
-Simultaneous tracking of Zulu, Home and Local time zones
-Advanced timer counts up or down and operates independently so you can perform other calculations while the timer is running
-Upon reaching zero in the countdown mode, a message will display no matter what app is active – a useful feature for missed approaches, switching fuel tanks, etc.
Sporty’s E6B app is a universal app designed for the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Apple Watch and requires a minimum of iOS 8.

Ratings and Reviews
It's lacking in significant areas
All the necessary functions are there but it's a basic no-frills E6B. One technical problem is that you often have to tap numbers a couple times to get them to register. It's frustrating.
The weight & balance doesn't store the info so you have to re-enter all values from scratch each time you use it. This combined with no graph display for W&B was a BIG dissappointment and means I won't use it. Come on how much does it take for the app to store the W&B arm and moment values and last entered weights??
All functions are pure text such as W&B as well as Crosswind which is sad given the potential for an iPhone app to display information graphically. Even some of the free E6B apps have this.
No weather! The free app I've previously used can pull down the latest METAR's. Remember guys you are building this app for a device that has an Internet connection!
It has a calculator function but no Memory key. When was the last time you saw a calculator without a memory function? That's just silly! You also can't do time calculations ie 04:36:00 - 00:46:16 = ?? that would be really handy! I can't count the number of times I've struggled to add or subtract a series of hh:mm:ss in my head for logging purposes.
Timer is just a single simple count up/down timer. No way to have an overall time, with time for the current leg. If you want to time the flight and have a hold timer ... you can't do both at the same time. The count down timer alarm will go off even if you've moved to another area of the E6B which is useful but it would be nice if the alarm provided a vibrate function because you can't hear it at all in the cockpit.
It doesn't remember the last function used. Everytime you start the app it takes you to the Pressure Density Altitude function. I would expect it to either remember the last screen used, or at the very least to be able to choose my start screen through a preferences option.
Is it worth $4.99, not in my opinion because you can get free or paid E6B apps that do the same things better. However this is a version 1.0 so I'm really hoping that Sporty's will improve it because it has real potential and a nicer interface than most of the others.
Hardly worth the time, let alone the cash
Too many things simply don't work properly on this app. Save your money...
Still very laggy , calculator touch button not responsive enought, TOO BASIC for that price !!!! Def. NOT worth the 10$ . Avoid it
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
