This app serves as an order processing unit for event ticket sales, supports a credit card reader, and stands as a barcode scanner to read and transmit 128 barcodes all to the ThunderTix online ticketing and event management software. ThunderTix is a fee-free, pay-as-you-go service for venues, tours, festivals and the arts to manage venue resources and sell ticketed events.
The ticket order processing function of the app allows logged in users with appropriate permissions to select from available events for their venue and process ticket orders. Using an approved credit card magnetic swipe reader, users can quickly process ticket orders, or simply accept cash orders. All data is transmitted to the ThunderTix system.
Our clients use the scanner to scan and validate tickets or alert users to fraudulent or previously scanned tickets. All results are stored on the cloud based ThunderTix platform to allow users to ascertain attendance to events.
A scanned ticket returns one of four possible messages: valid ticket, invalid ticket, previously scanned ticket, or valid ticket for another event or event date.
This app is compatible with iPhone 4S/5/6/6+ and iPad Air and mini.
