Limited Functionality in this advanced era of Skype, Viber, & FaceTime
I don’t understand why WhatsApp for Desktop had to have such a limited functionality, just chatting!!! No audio / video calls??? I am reminded of the year 1998 when MSN messenger had just introduced audio and video calls on the desktop. After 20 years when audio / video calls are common and WhatsApp is one of the most popular apps, it is kind of shameful not to have those features in 2017. When I look at my MacOS dock, Skype, Viber, WhatsApp, and FaceTime are all next to each other with only WhatsApp without Audio / Video - very inconvenient….
Waste of energy
What’s the point of a desktop app which cannot work autonomously? Why do I need to have my phone connected to sync messages every time I open the app? The app is absolutely useless.
Can’t make calls
The app needs upgrade to support voice calls, so 3 stars only
