In this interactive e-book, Zack and Rex are playing hide and seek. But Rex is too big (and too yellow) to do a very good job at hiding. First Rex tries hiding behind a rock, but he’s too big. Then he tries hiding in leaves, but the leaves blow away. He tries hiding in sticks, but there aren’t enough of them to cover him. But Rex is determined to try, try again until he finds a way to hide so Zack can’t find him.
Share the experience with your child by choosing the Read to Me option, and listen as the story is narrated by Zack. Each word is highlighted as it is read, and small animations play as the story progresses. Your child will love to re-play the animations by activating them through touch.
Or read the book to your child by selecting the Read by Myself option and watch as your child enjoys exploring the animations and sayings that can be activated on each page.
In both options your child will love discovering the interactivity that is triggered by their little fingers.
Based on Zerby Derby, a fully live-action series that airs on TVOKids. In the series, toy-sized, remote-controlled cars live and play in a life-size forest. Whether it's crossing streams, building dams or exploring a meadow, the Zerbies approach every problem with enthusiasm, and when things go wrong, they happily tackle each set-back with their mantra: "try, try again."
Ontarians rate TVOKids as the most trusted and most educational media brand in Canada when it comes to delivering content to children. TVOKids is available on-air and online at TVOKids.com, an award-winning website that’s home to over 160 educational games that help make learning fun. All TVOKids games and activities are based on the Ontario school curriculum, are student and teacher-tested and are developed in collaboration with TVO’s on-staff educator and other experts from across the province.

My son and I both love Zerby Derby, and these stories are great because it reads slow, highlights the words, and the stories are positive. My only complaint is that they don't just put them as one single app instead if three.
