A Sunny Day In Glasgow

About A Sunny Day In Glasgow

Originally fronted by identical twin sisters Lauren and Robin Daniels and masterminded by their brother Ben, A Sunny Day in Glasgow emerged in the early 2000s with synth-laden, experimental noise pop that echoed 1980s shoegaze acts like the Jesus and Mary Chain. The Sunniest Day Ever, their first EP, was released in 2006. Their first full-length album, Scribble Mural Comic Journal, arrived in 2007 and was followed by 2009's Ashes Grammar. Lineup changes ensued, and Jen Goma took over for the sisters on 2010's Autumn, Again, 2014's Sea When Absent, and 2015's Planning Weed Like It's Acid/Life Is Loss. ~ Marcy Donelson
