Biography

Hyper, irreverent, and "...so gay, I can put a lisp in the word 'cracker,'" the man simply named Ant first decided he wanted to become a comedian when he saw Whoopi Goldberg's one-woman show on HBO. After finding success in the comedy clubs of native Londonderry, NH, Ant decided to move to Los Angeles in 1989, hoping he would be noticed by the film and television industries. It didn't take long. Appearances on the WB's For Your Love, E!'s Talk Soup, and a monthly co-hosting gig on the syndicated Ricki Lake Show kick-started the comedian's career and led to Ant being the only comedian to appear on each of the first three seasons of NBC's smash hit Last Comic Standing. A role in Dirk Shafer's Circuit introduced Ant to the world of film with an appearance in the Sundance festival favorite Twin Falls, Idaho following. Soon Ant was a regular celebrity panelist on the syndicated hit game show To Tell the Truth, a weekly correspondent on CNBC's The Dennis Miller Show, and a featured comedian on Comedy Central's Premium Blend. His relationship with Comedy Central lead to his debut album, Follow My Ass, being released by the network's record label in 2004.
