About Nalva Aguiar

Nalva Aguiar started as a TV and radio artist in her hometown in the '50s. In the '60s, she participated in the recording of a Nísio e Nestor album. In the same decade, she became a pop/rock artist in Rio de Janeiro, changing for a pop-sertanejo style in the '70s. In 1976, she had a big hit with the re-recording of "Beijinho Doce" (Nhô Pai) in 1976, included on the soundtrack of the film O Conto do Vigário. In 1984, she recorded with Teixeirinha the LP Guerra dos Desafios. Some of her biggest hits were "Tá de Mal Comigo" (Nhô Pai) and "Nó Na Garganta" (Renato Teixeira). ~ Alvaro Neder
