About Of Mice & Men

Formed in 2009, Of Mice & Men is a California-based metalcore band best known for their hit 2014 album, Restoring Force. ∙ Rise Records signed the band after the label heard an online demo of their song “Seven Thousand Miles for What.” ∙ They broke through with the uncompromising 2011 album The Flood, which sold more than 100,000 copies and established their intense and inventive presence in American metalcore. ∙ Of Mice & Men won Best International Newcomer at the 2013 Kerrang! Awards. ∙ Restoring Force, which took the group in a more nu-metal direction, reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 17 in the UK. ∙ The hard-hammering 2018 album Defy—their first without original frontman Austin Carlile—was recorded by Grammy-winning producer Howard Benson (Papa Roach, Daughtry). ∙ All six Of Mice & Men’s LPs have cracked the Top 10 on the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart, including 2019’s brutal EARTHANDSKY, which peaked at No. 5.
