Oxford Collapse

About Oxford Collapse

Sprung out of the fertile indie-rock soil of early-2000s Brooklyn, Oxford Collapse built quirky pieces of fractured pop on the bedrock of 1980s college rock and 1990s DIY. A sprightly 2004 debut brought enough buzz to catch the fancy of Sub Pop Records, who swiftly snatched them up and released the critically favored REMEMBER THE NIGHT PARTIES. A prolific nature helped the band to a remarkably tight (30 songs pared down to 13) follow-up in 2008’s BITS.
