In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Receiving The Beatles Number One's from my uncle, I was 3 years old. Nothing spoke to me the way their music spoke to me. It's still true to this day. I find myself still discovering elements to their music that sound new to me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Derek & The Dominos, Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs (40th Anniversary) [Super Deluxe] Super Deluxe Tame Impala, Currents The Beatles, Abbey Road (Remastered) Abbey Road - The soundtrack of my childhood. A perfect album. Layla - This album has a heavy influence on my guitar playing. Tame Impala - I think Kevin Parker is one of the most talented and innovative artists of my generation. Tell us why you chose this song. “She's Gone (She Ain't Coming Back)” "She's Gone" is special to me because it was the first song I had written for 'Wide Awake.' I was in a very vulnerable place at the time I wrote it. I was just getting out of a long relationship and getting my heart broken for the first time. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was asked to headline the Portuguese Fest in my hometown New Bedford, MA. To have thousands of people in your hometown screaming your name really hit home, and brought a lot of emotion to me. It reminded me of why New Bedford is a special place Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Just to be able to make a comfortable living playing and writing music. I think if I'm 65 and still doing this full time, I'll be happy. I don't need to be rich or famous, I just want to be comfortable and make a living being a musician.
