Swiss rock band Redwood formed in 1998, and fronted by the charismatic Lesley Meguid utilized a decidedly non-Swiss style of music to build a devoted following as the 21st century began. Their first album, Everythingunderthesun, was released in 2004, after the band had honed its chops by playing just about everywhere, including a two-coast (and Austin, TX) tour of the United States. Their second album, Best Laid Plans, was recorded in the Black Forest of Germany, and hit stores in 2006. 2007 saw the release of Redwood's third full-length, We're All Gonna Die, which became a top twenty hit in the band's home country. ~ Chris True
