Telana is a Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter whose independent releases have ranged from slick contemporary R&B to dusty hip-hop soul. She has released a handful of EPs. First was the descriptively titled Aether, a four-track set of spaced-out ballads with a different production collaborator on each cut, issued in 2014 when she was 17 years old. Produced by Cam O'bi (SZA, Domo Genesis, Bas), the free-spirited three-track New Age Soul followed in 2015, boosted with an endorsement from Saint Heron. Aerbourne, a five-track EP led by the sparse ballad "Lemondrops," arrived in 2016. Amid this activity, Telana was also featured on an assortment of songs by the likes of Ibn Inglor ("Searching for Light") and A$AP Twelvyy ("Riviera"). Additionally, she teamed up with Shibumi for a co-headlining single ("Gemini Love"). ~ Andy Kellman
