The American breakbeat duo that comprises Funk Lab is C4 and B. Nice, together these two have been hyping progressive trance and house music throughout the late '90s and into the new millennium. They have released nine EPs and earned eight separate partnerships with several other labels such as U.K.'s Zazoo and Sony Playstation's Electronic Arts. But individually they bring different things alive in Funk Lab. C4 is a mastermind in Chicago house. His syncretic mixing combines hardcore techno and bombastic drum'n'bass drops. His partner B. Nice incorporates heavy trance soundscapes and techtronic breaks which gathers Funk Lab's melodic, yet illusive tech house magnificence. Aside from playing gigs and recording, Funk Lab also owns the label Funk Lab Records, which is sister labels to Street Beat Records (DJ Baby Anne, DLove DJ Dave London), while maintaining residencies at various Florida clubs like The Chili Pepper in Ft.
