great book thanks… but what I was looking for is how to value the shares of my compagny so I can sell shares and buy more income properties which is my business.. Help what book should I read
Good Intro!
If accounting is a new topic to you, then is a great read! I've had intro accounting classes several years ago, and I had a rough idea of how the principals worked. My wife, on the other-hand, had never really been exposed to accounting at all. After purchasing some accounting software for our small business, we realized we needed some grounding.
This book was a great intro for my wife, and re-intro for me, to the basics we needed to know.
Skip this if you're pretty comfortable with double-entry accounting. However, I would highly recommend this if you're opening a small business and have little, to no accounting background at all.

Such a helpful introduction to the basics of accounting. Gave me a great foundation for understanding all of the other accounting texts out there which are not organized or presented nearly as well as this little book is. Looking forward to the release of the next book!
